UAE: travel remains in demand similar in summer as it was in winter as stated by the tourism executives

The UAE is a 365-day tourist destination and it has become beneficial to airlines and hotels rooms have been full in summer similarly as it was in winter. Credit goes to new tourist attractions places that foreigners and residents can visit this summer. 

Airlines and hotel executives state foreign tourists are now gradually merging Abu Dhabi and Dubai when visiting the UAE.

Haitham Mattar the managing director for India, Middle East, and Africa IHG Resorts and Hotels said that Dubai tourism has started a number of activities, events, meetings, Indian weddings, and leisure travel therefore the city has become the desired destination throughout the year. 

He further added that we can see a high demand in summer similarly as it was in winter. Last year in Festival City their hotels were full up to 90% of occupancy. We have tourists coming from different regions and also from the international market, especially for the meetings and events. In summer the hotel occupancy has reached its peak similarly as it was in winters.

40% of people are coming up for Dubai. The people who reach the UAE aim that they want to explore the entire country as said by Johan Eidhagen the managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.

He further says April was near to the 50% growth trajectory. They are hoping for double-digit growth the entire year. They are looking for smaller regional airports in countries for eg. Saudi Arabia and other destinations in Europe. people are planning their trips in advance so the bookings are done much earlier than before because they know the benefits of doing an early booking.
