With Ivy League degrees, reputable awards, and multiple hobbies- the three homeschooled sisters are high-achieving students in Dubai. These Dubai-based sisters never graduated from traditional schools or classrooms instead they were homeschooled by their parents.
Dorothy Thomas- the second Thomas sister achieved a reputable J. Estes global citizenship award from the University of Pennsylvania.
This award is usually given to students from the University of Pennsylvania’s Nonprofit Leadership Program who have a good record in their academics and are committed to making a better social impact.
Thomas’s sisters are also Ivy League students. The elder sister Stefanie Danielle earned two undergraduate degrees from Liberty University and Arizona State University. Stefanie Danielle has completed her master’s from Harvard University, where is gained specialization in business management and leadership.
Recently- the younger Thomas sister Darianne is currently in her final year of a Bachelor’s course at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2021, Darianne received the US President’s Award for her excellence in academics.
The homeschooled girls
When Danielle was in Grade 4, Dorothy was schooled in Grade 2 and Darianne was a baby their parents switched them to homeschools.
The elder Thomas sister Danielle said, “ I still remember the day my family made the decision of our homeschooling.”
During their homeschooling, all three girls began working on their skills and picked up several hobbies, because of the flexibility and freedom they have offered.
All sisters are accomplished artists skilled in oil paintings and pencil sketches. They are also expert in several sports horse riding, football and other sports. The family has traveled to more than 70 countries which helped them to learn various cultures.
