One of the biggest changes in the rules for family visa UAE is that from now on, all payments (which includes deposits, guarantees, file opening charges, courier charges etc.) will be processed through typing centers verified by the UAE Ministry.

Documents for processing Family Visa UAE

When you are looking to apply for family visa UAE, one of the most important things that you should know is the documents that you need. You need to make sure to have all original documents available with you. Then you would need to visit any of the authorized typing centers in UAE to get them typed. Any application for family visa UAE will be rejected if any original documents are not submitted for verification. Documents would be verified and scanned into the system, so make sure you should have Original documents with you. You would need to have the following documents for family visa UAE

• Colour Passport copies of family members (Wife & Children)
• Passport size photograph WHITE background for each family member.
• Sponsor’s Original Passport.
• Sponsor Original Emirates ID Card.
• Original Attested Marriage Certificate from Issuing Authority, UAE Embassy from Sponsor’s country & from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE. The attestation can take anywhere between 30 to 45 days.
• Original Attested Birth Certificate from Issuing Authority, UAE Embassy from Sponsor’s country & from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
• Original EJARI Certificate along with Last Paid Electricity Bill.  The Tenancy or EJARI should be on applicant or spouse name.)
• Original MOL Contract with a minimum salary of AED 4,000 or a minimum salary of AED 3,000 AED + Accommodation is required. The Original MOL Contract can be printed from any TASHEEL Center. For doing that, you will have to pay a print charges that worth AED 53.You don’t need to go through attestation. Passport copy is must for printing MOL Contract.
• If you are a Government, Semi Government or Free Zone Employee, then your Original Salary Certificate is must for applying for family visa UAE
• IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the sponsor.
• You would need the last 3 months Bank Account Statement with Original Stamp and Signature.
• If you have a daughter who is older than 18 years, then you would need a confirmation letter in Arabic stating that she is unmarried along with father’s signature.

What to do after application approval of family visa UAE?

As a sponsor of family visa UAE, you would need to visit the immigration (GDRFA) after the approval of the online application. You will receive SMS on your registered mobile number on approval. You would also get messages for rejection or modification on the registered mobile as well.

E-Visa will be mailed to your registered email ID after immigration approval.

You should note that some countries will not accept E-Visa. In most cases, they will require the Original Printed Family Visa UAE that is pink. This ‘Pink-Visa’ can be collected from the Immigration office once you receive the approved SMS. There are no extra charges for getting that family visa UAE.

Visa charges for family visa UAE

You would need to pay the following fees for family visa UAE:

LLC Applicants: You would need to pay a Visa Fee of AED 360 & File Opening fee of AED 210. This should be paid at the Typing Center.

Free Zone Applicants: Government, Semi Government or Free Zone workers will only pay a visa fee for AED 310 for visa application.
